GOES Announces Participation in National School Choice Week, January 21-27, 2018

Great Oaks Elementary School announced today that it will celebrate the school’s students, teachers, and staff during National School Choice Week 2018, which will be held from January 21-27, 2018.

GOES is a Christian school serving grades K-8 with a student enrollment of 100.

Started in 2011, National School Choice Week is the world’s largest annual education-related celebration. The goal of NSCW, which features participation from tens of thousands of schools and organizations, is to shine a positive spotlight on effective education options for children.

During National School Choice Week, schools across America celebrate the challenging, motivating, and effective education they provide to students. At the same time, parents use the week to learn more about the education options available to their children, in advance of the upcoming school year.

“We are grateful to have GOES participate in National School Choice Week 2018,” said Andrew Campanella, NSCW President. “I salute the students, teachers, staff and families of GOES for their commitment to raising awareness about educational opportunity. Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders, and it’s up to everyone to ensure that we prepare children for successful, happy, and productive lives. GOES is working to do that.”

National School Choice Week is nonpartisan and nonpolitical, and is not related to any legislative advocacy effort.
